FAQ
Questions before your first import
Will Sheet2Store change my live store?
No store connection is required. Download the CSV and import it yourself as draft products. Test a small sample and leave overwriting existing products disabled.
Can it take product photos from my supplier’s PDF?
Yes. Photos placed next to products in a text-based PDF are extracted, matched to their products and added to your import file as image links hosted by Sheet2Store, so your store can download them during import. Image links already in your file are kept. Scanned, image-only PDFs are not supported yet.
What if my full file cannot be converted?
Unsupported files are rejected before checkout when possible. If full processing fails after payment, we refund the single conversion or restore the bundle credit.
Can I change currency and selling prices?
Yes. Choose source and selling currencies, enter and confirm your exchange rate, and add a markup. Review all prices and your Shopify store currency before importing.
Can it write product titles and descriptions?
Yes. It turns supplier shorthand into store titles and short descriptions in your store’s language, using only the facts in your file: no invented materials, sizes or claims. It’s free for your 5 preview products, included for every product once you unlock the catalog, and you can undo it.
My supplier sent a new price list. Do I convert everything again?
No. Upload your store export and the new list: Sheet2Store matches products by barcode, SKU or name, shows every price and stock change, and gives you an update file with only the changed rows, plus new products separately. Each update is $9.
