Prepare one product table

Use a workbook with one visible product sheet, or save that sheet as a UTF-8 CSV. Each row should describe one product variant. A short introductory title above the table is fine when the real headings can be recognized. Separate notes, totals and alternate price lists from your product rows before uploading. This release accepts up to 500 variant rows and 50 columns.

Map supplier headings to store fields

The mapping is editable. When several columns could be prices, choose the correct one yourself. The converter does not infer stock quantities, product materials or missing size combinations.

Protect leading zeros and formula results

SKUs and barcodes are identifiers, even when they contain only digits. Store them as text in the source workbook. Sheet2Store also recognizes Excel number formats made of zero placeholders, but it cannot restore leading zeros that were already removed before the file was saved. Formula cells are left blank and flagged; paste their calculated values into a copy of the workbook before uploading.

Markup is different from margin

A supplier cost of 100 with a 40% markup becomes a selling price of 140. This is a markup on cost, not a 40% profit margin. If the supplier currency differs from your store currency, enter how many selling-currency units equal one supplier-currency unit and confirm the rate. Exchange rates are supplied by you and are not fetched automatically.
