What the free checker can find

Upload a UTF-8 Shopify product CSV of up to 2 MB and 500 rows. The checker looks for missing product titles at the start of a product, missing or invalid positive prices, duplicate SKUs, repeated variant combinations and products that are not explicitly set to draft. It accepts the current Price and SKU headings as well as the older Variant Price and Variant SKU headings.

Checks that still belong in Shopify

This checker does not validate every Shopify column, fetch image URLs, check your tax setup or test your inventory locations. A finding about draft status is a cautious review recommendation, not proof that Shopify would reject an active product. Files containing image-only rows or advanced product features can need additional review beyond these basic checks.

Understand a variant row

Related variants share a product handle. The first row provides the product title and description; later rows can leave those product-level fields blank while supplying the same handle and different option values. Each sellable combination should have its own row. Check that two sizes were not accidentally assigned the same option value before you import.

Run a small import first

Keep a copy of the original CSV. Import a few draft products, leave overwriting existing products disabled, and inspect prices, variants and images in your Shopify admin. The CSV does not carry a universal store-currency setting, so confirm that your prices use the currency your store expects.
